Emergency crews saved the day on Thursday as they rescued a kitten from a storm drain in Georgetown County.
A social media post from Midway Fire Rescue said they were dispatched to a report of a cat in a storm drain and their assistance was needed to get it out.
It was located about 20 feet into the storm drain. Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control brought equipment to help with the rescue. Crews were able to safely remove the cat in just a few minutes.
