MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach city leaders say damage reports are starting to filter into the Emergency Operations Center Friday afternoon.

A post to the city’s Facebook page says reports of traffic light outages, downed trees, and inoperative power lines have been made at numerous locations along the beach. To report damages within the City of Myrtle Beach, call the EOC at 843-918-1400 or the Myrtle Beach Police Department’s 24-Hour information line at 843-918-INFO (4636).

If you have a police or medical EMERGENCY, call 9-1-1. The City of Myrtle Beach Geographic Information System Department created the damage field reporter app, which details damages Hurricane Florence left behind. The app shows locations and issues such as downed trees and power lines, flashing traffic lights, road debris and more.
