NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Crews are on scene of three house fires in the North Myrtle Beach area.
“Crews are working a total of 3 house fires currently on Blossom St. in Cherry Grove,” a Facebook post from North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue says. “Access to area is limited. Please avoid area.”
According to Pat Dowling, a house and trailer were impacted by the fire, but are under control.
Dowling also said that at the time, he was not aware of any injuries.
“Two structures were totally involved on arrival and another is nearly out, but will also be a loss,” according to a press release from the City of North Myrtle Beach. “Searches of the structures have not been accomplished at this point due to the nature of the fires.”
For a period of time, a woods fire was active, but is now out, the release also said.
According to a tweet from Horry County Fire Rescue, the department responded with three engines, two ambulances, a support vehicle and a tower ladder to the fire.
