CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – The City of Conway is considering implementing a curfew during Hurricane Florence, according to a city spokesperson.

Conway City Council will hold a special called meeting via conference call Wednesday at 4 p.m. to discuss the details of a possible curfew and if it’s needed, according to Conway spokesperson Taylor Newell.

WBTW will keep in touch with Conway city officials to provide the outcome of that meeting.

Conway has also enacted a burn ban ahead of the hurricane, which is effective immediately, and will remain in place until further notice.
