DILLON, SC (WBTW) – Container Maintenance of Dillon is bringing $11.5 million of capital investment and creating approximately 54 jobs with plans to open a new facility in Dillon County.

Container Maintenance Corporation announced Thursday it will open a new plant in Dillon County designed to support the newly-opened Inland Port Dillon.

Providing container and chassis maintenance for a variety of regional clients, Container Maintenance Corporation offers repair, upkeep and depot services, as well as storage and redistribution of intermodal equipment.

The company’s new Dillon County facility complements its existing Charleston County facility, which supports the Port of Charleston. The new operations are projected to come online in the third quarter of 2018.
