The Compassion through Fashion seeks to help the homeless community in Myrtle Beach.
The event was held Saturday at the Marriott Grande Dunes. The event was put on by the New Directions charity group so that the community could learn about their work.
The main feature of the event was a fashion show where participants used unusual materials to create their clothing. The outfits had to be mad up of at least 90% of unusual materials.
Our own Meghan Miller was one of the judges for the fashion show!
In addition to the fashion show a silent auction was also held.
