(WBTW) – A child was taken to the hospital after crews say he fell into an elevator shaft in Litchfield, Monday evening.
According to Doug Eggiman with Midway Fire Rescue, the child fell approximately 10 feet around 4:55 p.m., Monday. Eggiman adds that the child is expected to be okay.
There is no word on where the child fell or any additional details at this time.
