Horry County police are responding to a body found in Carolina Forest.
According to Krystal Dotson with the Horry County Police Department, the body was found Sunday in Carolina Forest on a wooded path behind the Walgreens on Highway 501 and West Perry Road. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
Michelle McSpadded with the Horry County coroner’s office said that the victim was a man who she believes died from a drug overdose. Officials are notifying the victim’s family at this time.
