GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – The Bassmaster Elite Series begins Thursday in Georgetown.
The competition runs through Sunday.
Daily boat launch is at 7 a.m. at the Campbell Marine Complex and daily weigh-ins begin at 3:15 p.m.
The Winyah Bay Heritage Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday adjacent to the Bassmaster stage.
Jack Broach-Akers, public information officer for Georgetown County Government, said the event is expected to bring about $1 million in revenue to Georgetown.
The event is free to attend.
