Arrest made in Myrtle Beach Speedway Robbery

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – An arrest was made for a Myrtle Beach Speedway robbery that happened on Sep. 30.

Myrtle Beach Police arrested 37-year-old Jason Odell Taylor on Wednesday. Taylor is being charged with armed robbery.

Police say around 4:30 p.m. on Sep. 30^th Taylor walked in Speedway, located at 1800-BLK Mr Joe White Ave. and sprayed the cashier in the eyes with pepper spray, then demanded that she give him the money in the register. The cashier ran around the corner in an attempt to get away from Taylor. The cashier heard Taylor allegedly banging on the register.

Police say when they arrived to the scene the middle cash register was missing.
