NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – All lanes of Hwy. 17 southbound near the Coastal North Shopping Center in the North Myrtle Beach area are closed for a crash, according to a post on the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety’s Facebook page.
People are asked to avoid the area.
The crash happened at 1799 N. Hwy. 17 around 12:48 p.m. on Thursday, according to a press release from the City of North Myrtle Beach. A vehicle reportedly hit a light pole in the median.
No one was seriously injured and all people involved were out of the vehicle when emergency crews arrived on scene, the release said.
