In less than a week, officials have responded to two seals coming on shore in Myrtle Beach.
Cpl. Thomas Vest of the Myrtle Beach Police department tells us they are unsure if this is the same seal that came ashore on Wednesday. This second seal sighting is on the beach near 63rd Street.
Officials are on their way to inspect the seal. NOAA says harbor seals are usually found in the Atlantic Ocean from Canada to New York, so one sighting is already very rare.
