Horry County police officers are investigating after a man was shot and killed Friday night in Longs, according to police spokesperson Krystal Dotson.
The incident happened on Anna Drive around 9:30 p.m. in the Freemont section of Longs. According to the Horry County Deputy Coroner, the victim has been identified as Dennis Bellamy, 59, Longs.
Police have arrested Quientin Floyd 27 years old of Little River and is being charged with Voluntary Manslaughter, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, Unlawful Carry and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
He is currently being held at the Horry County Detention Center.
