Highway 544 was shut down near Peachtree Lane following a multi-vehicle accident.
According to Horry County Fire Rescue, the crash happened at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday evening. At least four people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
First responders cleared the scene just before 8 p.m.
