CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Fire Rescue crews are on scene of a car crash involving a school bus in Conway Tuesday morning.
According to a tweet from the department, the crash is on Harper Road at Hwy 701 in Conway. Fire officials say the crash does involve a school bus and injuries have been reported.
Horry County Schools spokesperson Lisa Bourcier confirms four people were taken to the hospital – three children and one adult – all with minor injuries. Bouricier says 18 children were on the bus, which was headed to Whittemore Park Middle School.
South Carolina Highway Patrol online traffic system reports the crash occurred at 7:49 a.m. and that EMS is en route.
News13 has a crew headed to the scene and will release more information as it’s made available by highway patrol and Horry County Fire Rescue.
