3 pets rescued from Myrtle Beach house fire

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Firefighters say no one was inside a home on Foxcroft Lane this afternoon when a fire broke out, but they were able to pull two dogs and a cat from the fire.

Lt. Jonathan Evans with the Myrtle Beach Fire Department says crews observed heavy smoke when they arrived at the home.

A tweet from the Myrtle Beach Fire Department says firefighters were on the scene of the working fire around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Photos from the fire department show first responders giving the animals rescued from the fire oxygen after the rescue.

Fire officials have not yet released the cause of the fire.
