PAWLEYS ISLAND AREA, SC (WBTW) – Two people were trapped and a medical helicopter was requested after a vehicle overturned in Georgetown County on Monday.
Midway Fire Rescue crews were on scene of an overturned vehicle at Highway 17 and Martin Luther King Drive, according to a tweet from the department. “2 patients are confirmed trapped and extrications are in process. Medical Helicopter has been requested.”

In another tweet, MFR said a woman in critical condition was extricated and is “packaged” for the medical helicopter.
