Two people have been arrested after a shooting on Hemmingway Street in Myrtle Beach Sunday.

Warrants have been served on 19-year-old Justin Tyreck Evans and 21-year-old Kassey Diane Robinette. Cpl Thomas Vest with the Myrtle Beach Police Department says Evans faces charges for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, unlawful carry of a pistol and felon in possession of a firearm.

Robinette was arrested Tuesday and has been charged with accessory before the fact to a felony, accessory after the fact to a felony and giving false information to law enforcement.

According to Cpl. Vest, the shooting happened near Hemmingway Street and Vereen Street just after noon.

While officers were on scene, they were told one victim appeared at the hospital with a gunshot wound.
