MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – An 11-year-old boy who drowned at a resort on North Ocean Boulevard has been identified as Trenton Piper, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Chris Dontell.
Trenton drowned on Sunday at Beach Colony Resort in Myrtle Beach.
The child was transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about one hour after drowning. He was from Cincinnati, OH, Dontell said.
Myrtle Beach PD also investigated the incident. No charges were filed in this case.
