11-foot-long alligator spotted on Highway 707 in Myrtle Beach

Neighbors stopped in their yards along Highway 707 in Myrtle Beach to take photos of a large alligator that was calmly laying beside the roadway on Sunday evening. 

According to SCDNR’s Twitter page, the alligator was a whopping 11 feet long, and was found near Highway 707 near Tournament Boulevard.

The alligator was safely removed from the roadway without any reported injuries.
