MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) — Grand Strand Humane Society’s Director of Operations, Jessica Wnuk, was on News 13 Now Wednesday to introduce us to Teva, a foxhound in need of a forever home. Teva is about a year-and-a-half years old, mild-mannered and good with kids. However, if you aren’t quite ready to take on the commitment of full-time ownership, Wnuk says it’s also looking for foster families. She says the foster program is great for first-time pet owners or for parents who want to let their children try out the responsibility of taking care of a pet.

The Grand Strand Humane Society’s next fundraising event is its Sixth Annual Love and Care Golf Tournament. It will be held June 8, 2016 at the Arrowhead Country Club. For more information about that event, pet adoption, the foster program or volunteer opportunities go to www.grandstrandhumanesociety.com or call 843.918.4910.
