She says the more you cook the vegetables, the more nutrients the food loses. She suggests using a steaming pot to lightly steam the vegetables to prepare them.

O’Neill also suggests women use freshly-squeezed lemon juice opposed to purchasing pre-packaged juices.

Finally, O’Neil advises women to use a hand chopper to chop fresh herbs, like basil.
