MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Grand Strand Boat and Sportsman Expo drew thousands of people to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center over the weekend.

Almost 200 boats from 45 brands filled the Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, along with more than 3,000 people. Dozens of motorcycles and golf carts were also on display, as well as fishing supply vendors. The expo also included several seminars on fishing and boat safety.  Organizers say the expo is a staple for a coastal community like the Grand Strand. “We’ve got water in front of us, water behind us, bays and inlets all the way up and down the coast and a lot of people here fish, and the ones that don’t fish, enjoy the water,” said general manager Kevin Bennett.

This was the 35th year of the Grand Strand Boat and Sportsman Expo.
