GEORGETOWN, SC – On May 2nd 2017 Winyah Rivers Foundation, along with 33 other non-profits that serve Georgetown County and its surrounding communities, will be participating in Palmetto Giving Day. Taking the place of Lowcountry Giving Day (of 2015 and 2016), Palmetto Giving Day 2017 is being organized as a grassroots effort by 34 local organizations and supported by the Francis P. Bunnelle Foundation. This is a 24-hour online giving event geared towards increasing online fundraising, building an online presence, and finding new prospective donors for our local nonprofits.
Winyah Rivers Foundation and its Waccamaw RIVERKEEPER® program is dedicated exclusively to protecting a person’s right to clean water.
