GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – The Georgetown Police Department is asking community members to avoid Emanuel Street while law enforcement agencies search for a fugitive in the area.
A post to the department’s Facebook page says police officers, SLED agents and members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force are at 1426 Emanuel Street, searching for a fugitive that was reported to be at the home.
The department asks that neighbors do not enter the area until officers complete the search. Officials did not give the fugitive’s name or for what crime the person is wanted.
