GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – Georgetown police arrested a man accused of armed robbery in connection with incidents at the Sunoco, Walmart and Walgreens on North Fraser Street on Sunday.
A press release from the Georgetown Police Department says Harold Fitzgerald Wilson, 48, of Gilbert Street in Georgetown was taken into custody and charged with three counts of armed robbery.
Investigators say all three robberies happened on Oct. 23. According to the press release, the Sunoco was robbed around 2:18 a.m, the Walmart was robbed at 4:40 a.m. and Walgreens incident happened at 11 a.m.
Wilson was arrested on Merriman Road as he was fleeing the scene of the last robbery, officers say. He is currently being held in the Georgetown County Detention Center.
