A Georgetown man is dead after being shot in the head.
Williamsburg County Deputies say they responded to calls of a body lying in the roadway on Rhems Road, in Nesmith, just after 3pm Tuesday. The coroner identified the victim as 75-year-old Leroy Barnes of Georgetown.
The body is at MUSC for an autopsy.
