GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – A Georgetown Sheriff’s Office deputy was involved in a car accident Thursday around 11:38 a.m.
Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Alma Sierra says the crash happened at 9977 Highmarket Street near Roberts Motors Body Shop.
Officials are not sure what cause the crash, but officers confirm that one other car was involved.
Sierra says the deputy is “okay”. Highway Patrol reports there were injuries, but the extent of those injuries are not yet known.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is on scene investigating.
