The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two people suspected of shoplifting from a Pawleys Island store.
A press release says one woman and one man are suspects in a shoplifting incident that happened on Sunday at the Pawleys Island Mercantile store, which is located at 10880 Ocean Highway in the Hammock Shops area.
The woman is pictured wearing jeans and a purple short-sleeved shirt. She is suspected of taking a pair of shoes, valued at $120, into a dressing room, removing them from a box, and putting them in her pink bag. The man is pictured wearing a blue American Eagle shirt and green shorts. He is suspected of taking a hat and a t-shirt, valued at a total of $45, from a shelf near the front of the store. Both suspects are thought to be in their late 20s or early 30s.
