GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WBTW)- On July 8, Georgetown County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man in connection to multiple sexual conduct complaints.
Michael Ray Birchmore Jr. was picked up at the intersection of Ray Road and Choppee Road without incident and taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center.
As the investigation into Birchmore’s case continued, more events and victims were identified and more charges were levied against the 35-year-old.
Birchmore was charged with three counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor in the 1st Degree less than 11 years of age, two counts of Disseminating obscene materials to a minor 12 years of age or younger, and four counts of Engaging a minor under the age of 18 for sexual performance.
