BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) – Tyrell Nelson’s tip-in with two seconds left pushed Gardner-Webb past Coastal Carolina 66-64 on Saturday.

Both teams traded points to keep the score tied until Jerome Hill’s layup put Gardner-Webb ahead with 25 seconds to go.

Elijah Wilson answered on the other end, hitting a jumper to tie the score again with 13 seconds left. Tyler Strange took a shot from distance that didn’t drop, and Nelson grabbed the offensive board and tipped it in for the win.
