LORIS, SC (WBTW) – Hundreds of people filled the Loris High School auditorium for Levi Herman Moody’s funeral on Saturday.
Moody was killed in a shooting on Freemont Road in Longs, last weekend. He was 19 years old. Horry County Police have arrested a suspect in Moody’s death. Devonta Williams has been charged with murder, as well as several other criminal charges. He is 19 years old.
Moody was a former star running back at Loris High School. He had even committed to playing football at Limestone College last year. About 300 people attended the funeral, including Moody’s family, friends, former classmates, and community members. The two-hour service was open to the public.
