During the free interdenominational event, pastors from places of worship in the North Strand area will offer prayers for many facets of our local, state and national communities. Their prayers will be interspersed with musical performances by area praise teams, choirs and individual singers.
The City of North Myrtle Beach will provide free drinks to those who attend. Attendees are also encouraged but not required to bring a canned good, which will be donated to North Myrtle Beach Helping Hand.
In case of rain on May 17, the prayer and praise event will be moved indoors to the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center, 1030 Possum Trot Road.
Every effort is made to rotate church leaders and musical performers each year so that over time all of the many North Strand places of worship will have the opportunity, if they so choose, to participate.
