Frederick beats Myrtle Beach 7-5

MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – The Frederick Keys beat the Myrtle Beach Pelicans 7-5 on Friday night at TicketReturn.com Field.

Starter Zach Hedges pitched five plus innings and only gave up two earned runs but he took the loss.

The Pelicans jumped on the board first thanks to a home run by Charcer Burks. But the Keys came back and had a big sixth inning. They scored four runs.

The two teams are back in action tomorrow. First pitch is 7:05 p.m.
