FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence Police Department has filed charges on a fourth subject in connection with the armed robbery at Rick’s Pawn Shop on Thursday.
According to Lt. Mike Brandt with the police department, Tomarcas Donnell Swift, Jr, will face charges of armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, conspiracy and assault and battery first-degree charges stemming from the robbery, which occurred at 804 East Palmetto Street.
Swift was taken into custody by the Hartsville Police Department on Monday and is being held at the Darlington County Detention Center, where he faces additional charges with that agency, says Lt. Brandt.
Justin Gadson has been transferred to the Florence County Detention to face his charges in this incident.
Investigators have recovered three of the 20 handguns stolen during this incident and continue to investigate.
