(WBTW) – Four people have been arrested in connection to a burglary where deputies say the homeowner shot and hit one of the suspects.
According to Lt. Robert Kilgo with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are investigating a burglary that took place at a home on Ousleydale Rd, Thursday morning. Deputies believe the homeowner interrupted the burglary, shot a firearm and hit one of the suspects. There is no word on the extent of the suspects injuries.
Kyle William Norris, 32, Danielle Elizabeth Adams, 33, and Crystal Renee Dixon, 32, all of Hartsville have been charged with second degree burglary. Norris’ bond was denied. Adams’ and Dixon’s bond was set at $50,000 by a Darlington County Magistrate. Norris was previously released on bond for three counts of second degree burglary in June of 2017.
Deputies also arrested Justin Lee Kelly, 35, of Hartsville Thursday evening. Kelly is charged with intimidation of a witness and unlawful communication. Investigators allege Kelly threatened several people on social media related to the burglary. Kelly was denied bond by a Darlington County Magistrate. Kelly was previously released on bond for unlawful carrying of a pistol in January of 2018.
