Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is scheduled to speak to South Carolina Democrats at the 2015 John Spratt Issues Conference
The state Democratic Party says O’Malley is speaking to party activists and leaders at the conference in Myrtle Beach, a two-day which is set to kick off Friday.
Limited to three terms, O’Malley left office after last year and is considering a run for the White House in 2016. O’Malley visited South Carolina last fall to campaign for state Sen. Vincent Sheheen, who was running for governor.
That was O’Malley’s third visit in a year to this early primary state.
