FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – A former corrections officer at the Florence County Detention Center was arrested Monday for solicitation of prostitution.
According to Major Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, former corrections officer Blair Thomas McElveen is charged with solicitation of prostitution that allegedly occurred at a location on West Lucas Street in Florence.
McElveen was released from the Florence County Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond.
McElveen has been terminated from his employment at the Florence County Detention Center.
