Francis Marion University hosted
its annual Black Heritage Month Program Monday

The featured performers are dancers from Justine Roberts Performing Arts Academy.
Roberts is a professional dance instructor and owner of the Justine Roberts Performing Arts Academy in Marion.
She teaches various styles of dance to more than 60 students, helping them to achieve their dreams through the art of dance and expression.
Roberts’ experience includes becoming an artist in residence for the state and teaching in both the public and private sector.
The “Young, Gifted and Blessed Gospel Choir” of FMU also took part in the celebration.
