Florence police said Tuesday a teen has been charged with murdering another man over the weekend.
Officers found Terrell Smith, age 25, of Florence shot to death Saturday night in the 1000 block of West Dixie Street in Florence.
Investigators on Tuesday identified Zafir Bethea, age 19, of the 1100 block of Carver Circle in Florence, as the killer.
Smith, of Ingram Street in Florence, was rushed to an area hospital after the 8:30 pm shooting, but he died a short time later.
Police have not released details on a motive.
Bethea is also charged with possession of a weapon during violent crime and possession of a firearm with obliterated serial number.
