Florence School District Three Superintendent discusses 3 unfilled School Board seats

FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) – Florence School District Three, in the Lake City area, has three empty seats on its board. The deadline to file to be on the board was back on August 15.

The unfilled seats include:

District 1- Olanta, S.C.

District 2- Coward, S.C.

District 3- Scranton, S.C.

As of now, candidates must Write- In before November 8^th.

Superintendent Laura Hickson said, “Yes we do have the vacant seats but I do believe someone from the community will make the time [and] find the time to serve on the board.”
