FLORENCE (WBTW) – The Florence One Board of Trustees has appointed three new schools administrators for the 2016-17 school year. David Copeland, Jr. , Cedrick Kennedy and Stanley R. Brunson will begin July 1st.
David Copeland, Jr. is now the new principal of Savannah Grove Elementary. Previously,
Copeland was the assistant principal at McLaurin Elementary.
Cedrick Kennedy is now the Director of Aldred E. Rush Academy. Kennedy is a certified teacher and administrator with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from South Carolina State University in 2004.
Stanley R. Brunson is now the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Budgeting Services. Brunson replaces retiring Chief Financial Officer Luther Rabon. Brunson has served as Director of Finance for Marion County School District since December, 2014.
