FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence Downtown Development Corporation, City and County of Florence, Chamber of Commerce and other sponsoring entities requests that area residents participate in an online survey to confirm elements of the new community brand identity initiative.

Last month, representatives from the branding firm Avant Marketing Group conducted interviews with community leaders, held resident focus groups and organized a survey with Florence high school students. The research has resulted in several potential directions for the brand identity.

In order to ensure that the identity properly represents the community, the City of Florence is asking all interested residents to participate in the online community survey. According to Paul VandenElzen, project manager at Avant Marketing Group, “The goal of this survey to ensure that the ideas that came out of our research truly reflect the spirit of Florence. It is critical that as many community members participate as possible.”

Residents interested in participating can access the survey directly by visiting the website,www.surveymonkey.com/r/FlorenceBrand.

Interested residents should participate as soon as possible. Any questions may be directed to Avant Marketing Group at (314) 576-7700 or by email at vandenelzen@avantmarketing.com.
