FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence Police Department says a shooting that happened on Kuker Street on Wednesday night was accidental and no charges will be filed.
Lt. Mike Brandt says officers responded to a reported shooting on the 100 block of Kuker Street around 10:16 p.m. on Wednesday in reference to a shooting. Upon arriving to the scene, officers found that two people were shot and had already gone to the hospital.
Investigators later found the incident to be an accidental discharge of a firearm, according to Brandt. The person holding the firearm and a bystander suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
