The Florence Police Department responded to a fight and shots fired in the 5 Points area.
According to Lt. Bob Drulis, with the department, a fight broke out Thursday evening at the Don Jose business on West Palmetto Street and shots were fired into the ground. No injuries were reported.
A suspect fled the scene, Drulis also said. No description is available as of this posting.
More than five City of Florence police cruisers were on South Cashua Drive Thursday night.
