The Florence Police Department is investigating a shooting on West Dixie Street.
Around 1:52 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of West Dixie Street in reference to a shooting, Lt. Mike Brandt says in a press release.
According to Brandt, upon arriving, officers found blood at the scene and learned that bystanders transported the victim to a hospital for treatment. No information on the victim’s condition is available.
