FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) The city of Florence has announced the opening of Andrew H. Griffin Plaza on Friday, June 7.
The plaza includes an interactive water feature.
A press release from the city describes the space as nicely landscaped providing a multifunctional plaza space during special events downtown and for public use and enjoyment.
The interactive water feature is designed for children 12 and under and will operate daily from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
It includes eight spray jets with one center column of water to cool off with this summer.
During operating hours for the water feature, an attendant will be present in the plaza area.
