FLORENCE, SC – The South Carolina Department of Education (SDE) announced today that Florence One’s three high schools, South Florence, West Florence and Wilson, are the recipients of a grant totaling $449,386 designed to Prepare College and Career-Ready Graduates.

These Florence One high schools will receive funds from the SDE to begin operating evidence-based programs to serve specific students at their schools.

Florence One is among seven other districts in South Carolina receiving the college and career ready grants.  Other recipients are Charleston, Edgefield, Laurens 55, Lexington 3, Lexington/Richland County School District Five, Oconee and York One.
