Florence officials investigate series of fires near Northwest Park

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The city of Florence Fire Department and the Florence Police Department are investigating a series of fires in the West Florence area, near Northwest Park.

The press release from Lt. Mike Brandt with the Florence Police Department says the fires happened in the early morning hours Wednesday and Thursday.

Three of the fires destroyed abandoned homes while some were debris piles in the roadway or in a wooded area.
