FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – A Florence County man has died after his motorcycle colliding with a truck in Florence late Wednesday evening, according to the Florence Police Department.
Maj. Carlos Raines told News13 officers were called to the 300-block of South Cashua Drive just after 7 p.m.
Raines says a motorcycle hit the side of a Ford truck exiting a Harris Teeter parking lot and turning left on to South Cashua Drive. Coroner Keith Von Lutcken said 37-year-old Billy Seeger, of Quinby. died died after being transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation by the Florence Police Department.
